LibreOffice is a great Office program that is Open Source and is Free to download, but out of the box can't look like Microsoft Office because of Microsoft copyright. In a few clicks and changes you can make it look very close.
Before you start
If you have Microsoft Word now then find your fonts folder and copy it to the folder where you have your documents or copy it to a USB drive. That way you will have some fonts that you will need later

Add Microsoft fonts on Linux
Go to Terminal (black box on Panel toolbar with >) and put in this command
sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
put in your password (It seems easier in Linux to sometimes have a quick simple password, because it will always ask you)
then just follow directions
Calibri font
Calibri is an important font to get. Mainly because that is Microsoft Word’s default font. This site will help you get those fonts

Make Arial font your default

Click on the arrow and change all to Arial
(The reason why I use Arial is that Arial is a very easy font for people to get, And as Microsoft's default is Calibri, that font is not easy for people to get. Arial is more of a standard font and easy to get for anyone)
